Neil Krevda joined 1816 Public Affairs Group LLC in 2019 and has served as Director of Government Affairs and Vice President for the organization. Neil has an extensive background in legislative, regulatory, state agencies and utilities. He was the President of the Indiana Broadband and Technology Association from 2019 to 2024, providing leadership in growing the membership to include communications providers from throughout Indiana. Prior to joining 1816 Public Affairs Group he worked for GTE/Verizon for more than 30 years, including 25 years in the company’s Government Affairs Group. Prior to Verizon, Neil worked for the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor, and an Indiana electric utility.

Neil’s telecommunications expertise has provided him with exposure in Washington D.C. and numerous states. He has testified before legislative bodies on a number of impactful topics over the years. His most recent work focused in the area of Broadband Grant Funding. The State Grant Funding programs and the move toward the use of Federal Grant Funding programs will help ensure that Indiana citizens will have access to broadband technology statewide.

Mr. Krevda is a lifelong citizen of Indiana and grew up in Gas City, Indiana.
